placement needs improvement

My experience at RMIT has been lonely. I started uni when covid-19 had just began and spent the entire lockdown alone in my apartment. i did the first 2 years of my degree in the lockdown, online; alone in my room. It was difficult to make friends in that situation. The 3 yr (current yr) started with placement (as a student of bachelor’s in social work i have to do 2 placements, 500 hours each). This is the worst part of it all. We have to do placement for 500 hours without any pay. 6 months of work and labour for free. No pay and no travel fees given. my placement was 1 hour from my place. i had to take a train and spend my own money everyday to come and go from placement and not the uni nor the placement covered those costs. I still have 500 hours of placement left and I will have to do that also without any pay to get my degree.
