As a civil engineering student at QUT Brisbane, I’ve really appreciated how well-designed the campus is for students. The lecturers are experts in their fields and are always willing to help when you encounter any issues. The only thing I’ve struggled with is that, due to tighter budgets and somewhat disorganized schedules, there’s sometimes too much content squeezed into a short amount of time, which can be overwhelming. Still, all the lecturers I’ve had classes with have been passionate, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to our progress.

QUT allowed a good application of theory in capstone units where concepts were applied in feasibility students and project development. I would’ve enjoyed even more practical applications especially with a lot of the units transitioning to online study with covid.
