I have been graduated from the Faculty of Science at the University of Tirana. Overall it was a good experience. The professors were highly qualified but the program was very theoritical with limited practice and lab based learning. More practical learning and updeted equipement would improve the student experience and preparation for the job market.
View moreMy experience at the University of Tirana has been a journey of growth. While it hasn’t always been easy — the academic pressure and challenges pushed me to my limits — it taught me resilience and helped me become stronger. I’ve had both good and tough moments, but overall, this place shaped me in ways I didn’t expect. I’m especially grateful for the friendships I’ve built and the supportive staff who made the hard days more manageable. It’s a mix of struggle and support that helped me grow, both personally and academically.
View moreAs a new student in UT Social Sciences, I can gladly say that I have felt very welcomed by the faculty since the first day I registered. I must say, everything is very well organized and the staff is very helpful with any questions that you might have. The campus is large with laboratories that ensure a high quality learning process.
View moreBeing a student pursuing computer science has been a transformative experience, one that continually challenges and inspires me. The computer science program I am enrolled in provides a stimulating academic environment where I have gained a profound understanding of algorithms, programming languages, and cutting-edge technologies. The faculty members are dedicated and knowledgeable, guiding us through complex concepts and encouraging critical thinking. However, the scheduling challenges have been a drawback. The university’s learning schedule, unfortunately, does not align well with my personal commitments and preferences, which has been a source of frustration. Despite this hurdle, the program’s curriculum strikes a balance between theoretical knowledge and practical application, preparing us for the real-world challenges in the ever-evolving tech industry. Overall, I find the computer science program to be comprehensive and well-structured, equipping me with the skills and confidence needed to thrive in the dynamic field of technology.
View moreI did my Bachelor’s for Translation and Interpreting which I finished in 2019, and it had its ups and downs but overall it covered all the necessary aspects of English as a secondary language. My faculty lacks an appropriate environment and classrooms for comfortable learning but I can overlook that. Teachers are well prepared although there’s always one or two that look down upon students.
My Master studies period was less appealing, it happened during Covid-19 therefore it found most teachers somewhat unsure on how to give successful lectures and how to reasonable evaluate students. Participating became more important than learning, unfortunately.
