Cranfield University is well known for its first class Aeronautical centre but it is also a hub for groundbreaking research in major disciplines including energy, water, waste management, agrifood and manufacturing. Included in the mix is Cranfield school of management which ranks very high in the business spectrum. It is strictly a post-graduate environment so there is some sort of matured atmosphere to it and although its lack of undergraduate school may seem to some as limiting, I think this has played to its strengths. The only thing I would like to see change is to increase the duration of its masters’ programme as it always seems cramped for just 12 months – suggest eighteen months to two years.
