My experience at the CUHK was quite great overall. The teaching staff at the University were at a high standard, and many of the faculties (including the Faculty of Law, where I studied) were recognized internationally. The University also made significant effort to enhance the job-seeking potential of its students, by hosting a number of networking and career events throughout the academic year. The University is also notably situated on a beautiful campus with a lot for students to take advantage of. The bus system within the campus makes it easy to get around, and is completely free for students to use.
The most significant setbacks associated with the CUHK are the bureaucracy and lack of efficiency with all administrative matters. Most activities involving any sort of faculty or departmental approval require students to fill out a great number of forms, most of which are processed quite slowly. This is, however, a small price to pay for a world-class education on a beautiful campus, so overall the experience is still one that I would highly recommend.
