Student review [#2390]
at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki - AUTH

Greek univerities are known around Europe for the fact that they are for free, which means no fees for studies and for books. Especially, AUTH offers free accomondation to a lot of students and free food (3 meals daily) to all of them, which makes me feel proud. But the problems of the uiversity are more than what it offers to students. The last years, the university lacks of necessary equipment because of the underfunding of the state. As a result, students are forced to pay for this. Moreover the studying rythm becomes more intensive and this way students don’t have much personal time. A good fact is that the rank of the university is still kept on a high level.
