Strathclyde is located in the heart of Glasgow, so location-wise you are close to everything. Glasgow is a city with a population of half a million and more than 100k university students so it is well suited for uni life and has plenty to offer. I am not gonna lie, Strathclyde is not a top 100 university ranking-wise and that's actually one of the reasons why I choose it - it enables be to both get a really decent higher education in my field of choice and have enough free time to work on other projects I am passionate about. I am doing Computer Science and the curriculum is pretty great and up to date, for instance, we got introduced to neural networks in the second semester of the first year. Facility-wise my department is not the most modern one, but I don't think that affects my education in any meaningful way.

Kaduna State University offers a balanced blend of theoretical knowledge and practical learning, particularly in the Economics Education programme. The lecturers are highly knowledgeable and approachable, fostering an environment where students feel encouraged to excel. The diverse student population creates a vibrant campus atmosphere, promoting collaboration and networking. That said, some aspects could be improved. For example, upgrading ICT infrastructure and expanding access to online learning resources would significantly enhance the student experience. Additionally, increasing extracurricular opportunities could help students develop soft skills and build well-rounded profiles. Overall, my time at KASU was transformative, equipping me with the skills and confidence needed to tackle real-world challenges. I would highly recommend the university to students seeking affordable yet quality education. This institution provides a solid foundation for personal and professional growth.
