The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) is the best Federal University of Technology in Nigeria. Her stable academic calendar, dedicated staffs and technology advancement made her stood out among the other Federal University of Technology. The school motto is "Technology for Self Reliance" and you can rest assured that you are going places after passing through the school.
Unlike other schools, a core strength of the institution is its excellent lecturer-student relationship, which is second to none. The lecturers are quite approachable and down-to-earth. Sequel to the cultural context of an African setting, which has to do with a touch of imperialism that exists between elders and younger ones, making it culturally required for elders to be seen as superior and most times unapproachable. Therefore, the societal factor that makes some lecturers see themselves far above students causes some students to be treated with intolerance. But LCU distinguishes itself from this archaic norm. There is a good relationship between its lecturers and students. And that has a huge impact on the academic performance of students. Impressive!
