My experience at IoBM was both challenging and rewarding. The university provides a professional learning environment with experienced faculty members who emphasize practical application along with theory. The courses are well-structured, especially in the fields of marketing and media management, offering a balance between academic learning and industry relevance. I particularly liked how group projects and presentations helped build communication and teamwork skills it wasn't only a typical class, the Capstones were amazing concept to deal with the real life company problems. The campus environment is vibrant, and students are encouraged to take part in seminars and co-curricular activities. On the downside, the workload can be intense at times, but it prepares you well for real-world corporate pressure. Overall, IoBM helped me grow both professionally and personally, and I would definitely recommend it to students looking for a serious, career-focused business education.
My time at Adekunle Ajasin University was both academically rewarding and personally enriching. I studied Computer Science, and the programme gave me a solid foundation in core areas like programming, data structures, and systems analysis. What truly stood out was the dedication of the lecturers—they were approachable, supportive, and genuinely invested in student success. While the resources were modest, I learned to adapt, solve problems independently, and make the most of what was available. This shaped my self-discipline and resourcefulness—qualities that now serve me well in remote work and independent projects. I especially appreciated how the programme encouraged critical thinking and practical application, rather than just theory. These skills have stayed with me and continue to guide my journey in tech and data. There’s always room for improvement, especially in infrastructure and digital access, but overall, the experience was impactful. I would recommend the university to students who are driven, curious, and ready to grow beyond the classroom.
We didn't have a biology teacher for a full year. 4 different substitute teachers that weren't informed well by HoGent. The arts class is very educational, but the teacher is not objectieve at all. Was talking to the internship supporter, she doesn't let jou talk. Can't get a word in between. Very annoying. I don't feel like she cared to listen. She doesn't give a fuck. It's not okey! Don't expect support. There are some really sweet teachers. But overall no great support or organization.
