The MSc in Finance programme is one of the toughest of the Business School, therefore, it is a high level programme due to the level of the admitted students and the work required. However, I think the course is way too academic-focused (theoretical rather than practical). I like the competitiveness of the programme and of the students. I would definitely recommend it to a European friend (it is free tuition for EU citizens) but perhaps not for a non-European friend. The campus is small and rather old, but good enough to do all student-related tasks. The night life in Aarhus can be quite nice, it is a very young city where 15% of the city are students or young adults. I think the Career Services could play a bigger role and have more on campus recruiting as Aarhus is a leading university in Denmark.

My time at Vatel Maurice was an extremely enriching experience. What struck me the most was the intense immersion in the hotel industry from the start of my studies. Thanks to the many opportunities offered by the school, I had the chance to explore different positions within various hotels and departments, both operational and administrative. This diversity of missions allowed me to develop an in-depth understanding of the entire hotel sector, which constitutes an undeniable advantage for my future career. What I really appreciated about Vatel was its ability to completely immerse us in the world of hospitality. Whether through practical internships, stimulating academic projects or inspiring conferences, the school fully exposes us to the reality of this exciting field. This immersive experience reinforced my passion for hospitality and strengthened my determination to excel in this dynamic sector. I am grateful to Vatel Maurice for providing me with such comprehensive and stimulating training, which truly shaped my professional vision and strengthened my passion for this fascinating field.
