A great citadel of learning.

The University of Lagos, Nigeria is one of the best universities in Nigeria and Africa at large, boasting a conducive learning environment, qualified lecturers, and a rich social life. The professors are really strict, but they are all about your success. They push you beyond your limits so that you can bring forth your full potential. There are instances where I would get frustrated at the workload of these lecturers, but at the end of the day, I am amazed at how better I get by the day. Also, UNILAG campus is one of the most beautiful campuses in Africa. It is the only university with a waterfront in Africa as it is a site for tourism and relaxation. There are also other beautiful places on campus where one can relax, such as the Love Garden, The park, The zoo, and so on. Genrally, UNILAG combines learning with fun.

Flexible learning

I Studied Mass Communication at the National Open University of Nigeria (2013–2017).It was a good experience overall. I liked the flexibility the program provided, as I could learn at my own pace.and the course material were really easy and self explanatory. Also doing my internship at TV/radio station with real newscasters made the entire experience a memorable one. The computer-based exams and assessment tests were also a great, making the learning process modern and convenient. However, I sometimes wished for more direct lectures and interaction with tutors. In fact, l and some of my coursemates had to engage lecturers from the University of Benin to help guide us through certain topics. While the independent learning approach was valuable, having more structured lecture support within the university would have made the experience even better.

It shaped me

I would readily recommend Anchor. There, they readily assist students through life, and encourage them to continuously be better people. And they have lecturers that won't relent until your issues are resolved

Excellent institution

I love the university because I learnt a lot in the prestigious institution,I graduated with HND in mass communication in 2018 and since then I have being making use of things I learnt. I will recommend to any one over and over again
