An amazing experience!

I love the quality of education I received at Bocconi. Having previously studied Management back in Turkey, coming here to do my masters in Marketing Management allowed me to get much more specialisation regarding my field. I got to know more about the data side of marketing, which brought me a whole other perspective. The school itself has many opportunities to make your university life the best possible experience. I enjoyed the seminars held, the extracurricular activities carried out, the opportunities to join an association, and have also been staying in one of the residences of Bocconi, which has made my life so much easier. Overall, I can say that both in terms of the education I got and the campus life Bocconi provided me, I am very satisfied with everything.

Great offer, improvement for “customer service”

The University of Naples Federico II lives up to its history and prestige. Besides the stunning architecture of its historical palaces and its location in the very heart of Naples’ historic centre, it has a competitive educational offer. My course of study is International Relations, a Master’s degree course provided entirely in English. The professors are Italian and some may struggle with the language, nevertheless they are extremely competent and real scholars in their subjects. The course covers many aspects of the international relations and students have the opportunity to choose between two different curricula: one focused on law and diplomacy; the other more focused on economic and financial aspects. During my course we have also had some distinguished guests who had a class or a seminar. In my experience my thesis supervisor has been really helpful, kind, and always available to have a dialogue and open to listen to my ideas and necessities. There is however some room for improvement: The courses require some level of practice that is now scarce. Theoretically speaking the preparation the course gives is excellent, but some form of practical experience is needed to let the students get to know better how the job market and job environments work. The students’ needs are often disregarded both by the teaching and administrative bodies, and it is sometimes difficult to get help with the huge bureaucracy related to the university (this is actually a really Italian problem). As mentioned above the buildings are architecturally magnificent but need maintenance in some areas and classrooms. The overall review is positive with needs for improvement and attention to the students’ requests.

A Proud Step Toward My Academic Dream in Venice

As a former student of the Master’s program in Environmental Sciences – Global Change and Sustainability, I can confidently say that my time at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice was one of the most meaningful and transformative experiences of my life. From the very beginning, the university maintained a high level of professionalism and clarity in its communication and academic processes. As an international student, I felt well-informed about enrolment procedures, visa requirements, and academic expectations. The guidance provided made what could have been an overwhelming transition feel structured and manageable. Academically, the program was both challenging and inspiring. The curriculum was well-designed, fully taught in English, and focused on global environmental issues with a strong sustainability perspective. The professors were knowledgeable, supportive, and encouraged critical thinking and research-based learning. The international classroom environment also allowed me to engage with students from diverse cultural and academic backgrounds, which greatly enriched my experience. Beyond academics, studying in Venice added a unique dimension to my journey. The university offered helpful support services, orientation programs, and assistance with accommodation, which made settling into a new country much easier. Looking back, my time at Ca’ Foscari not only strengthened my academic foundation but also helped me grow personally and professionally. I am truly grateful for the opportunity and would highly recommend this program to anyone passionate about environmental studies and global sustainability.
