not a foreigner friendly city for a university

the university is located in a city where the foreign office makes the life so difficult for people that a visit to the auslandersamt is all they think about, almost all my classmates left the university after the harassment by the auslandersamt(foreign office) however race has nothing to do it as a few of my white American friends also had to drop out of their studies due to the harassment. Irrespective of how good the studies are or how beautiful the city is, it doesn't matter when the foreign office destroys your career. A good scenery won't bring back years you wasted.

Ledeganck teachers education

We didn't have a biology teacher for a full year. 4 different substitute teachers that weren't informed well by HoGent. The arts class is very educational, but the teacher is not objectieve at all. Was talking to the internship supporter, she doesn't let jou talk. Can't get a word in between. Very annoying. I don't feel like she cared to listen. She doesn't give a fuck. It's not okey! Don't expect support. There are some really sweet teachers. But overall no great support or organization.

Reputable, Respected and Recognized world wide

My experience a NUST was a time to remember. I was in the engineering department. Lecturers were always on time for lecturers, and work and assignments were given and marked. I am the engineer I am owing to the dedication by the chemical engineering lecturers. Quality notes and lecturers are given as well as projects supervision and guidance. Even years after I have graduated, they are still available to give letters of recommendation as per request. My degree is recognized everywhere l have been and l recently got accredited as a professional engineer with ECSA based on my experience and academic background. Campus life as an engineering student is quite dull to be honest, best indulge in sports. During my time I took part in Basketball and athletics. They had transport from campus to the practice courts as the university didn't have an onsite basketball court. As for the ZUSA games where we meet with other universities to compete, I give that 1 star as we had to sleep in the bus over a two-day trip. I don't know if that has improved as resources were truly limited
