Worst option, awful professors and service

If you are thinking about signing up here, I recommend that you better look for a serious university and not a duckling like this one. I tell you my experience: Of the teachers I had since the first semester, I can tell you that 3 are salvable, from then on the others leave much to be desired, from lack of professionalism to lack of knowledge about the subject they "taught". They are excellent collectors and they worry a lot because you pay in advance. They send you emails, SMS, WhatsApp, but when it comes to important information, like when your group is no longer profitable and you will have to take classes if you want with another career or to let you know that I do not know who happened to have 5 hours of a subject with only one teacher at a time is a good idea when you have 6 semesters there ... For that there is nothing, no emails, calls, WhatsApp, absolutely nothing. The truth is, if you enter this university, you must be ready to how badly they'll treat you, won't follow up, will make changes without notifying you, won't consult you, will lie constantly and won't look you in the eyes ... The last thing was that I asked for my monthly reimbursement since they never gave us an option that will work for us and that my transcript of matters has no cost to me since they were the ones who did not fulfill their part of the deal and Reyna dares to lie, saying that I would pass my leave, complaint, and request ... It never did, it took 3 weeks without a solution. Today I finally spoke with someone else and I hope to have my leave and papers soon. And if they do not return my money, I hope they ask their God to forgive them for all the ball of lies they say because on earth they are going to turn off. In the end, do not waste your money and time, it's not worth it.

Inside Unijos: The Real Student Experience

“At UniJos, education is more than books and lectures — it’s a journey of growth, resilience, and discovery.” Studying at the University of Jos (UniJos) was one of the most defining experiences of my life. From the moment I stepped onto campus, I knew the place would challenge me not just academically, but personally. The mix of cultures, ideas, and personalities makes UniJos more than just a university; it’s a small world where learning extends far beyond the classroom. Academically, UniJos is a rollercoaster. The curriculum is rich and stimulating, but it definitely comes with its fair share of stress. I’ve had classes that I looked forward to (the kind that made me hurry across campus just to get a good seat because the lecturer was that engaging). On the flip side, there were courses I dreaded, not because of the content, but because the lecturer’s teaching style made everything feel like a chore. Still, even those moments taught me something — patience, focus, and how to adapt. The lecturers at UniJos are a mixed bag. Some are incredibly inspiring — the kind who make complex ideas sound simple and push you to think critically. Others, though, can be rigid or unapproachable, and that sometimes takes the excitement out of learning. Yet, most are deeply knowledgeable, and when they’re passionate about their field, it reflects in every lecture. Beyond academics, the UniJos environment is something I truly cherish. The campus is beautifully set against the Jos hills, and the scenery gives off a calm that makes even the toughest days easier. There are plenty of hangout spots — from quiet corners near the library to lively areas around the hostels — where students unwind, talk, and recharge after long hours of classes (I always looked forward to a hearty meal of Masa, Dan wake and Nunu at the little kiosks behind Remedial 😊😊). Those little moments of laughter and connection made the experience unforgettable. Of course, UniJos has its issues — frequent power outages, outdated equipment, and the occasional academic delay — but it’s also a place that builds resilience. It teaches you how to make things work, even when they don’t go as planned. In the end, UniJos gave me more than a degree; it gave me perspective. I’d recommend it to anyone ready to grow — not just in knowledge, but in character, patience, and strength. > Verdict: Challenging, inspiring, and real — UniJos teaches you life just as much as it teaches your course.
