Software Engineering at RMIT is a real “study and work” type of course. Lots of group projects, constant coding, so it feels very practical, like going to work, not just sitting and listening to lectures. The teachers are friendly, many have experience outside the industry so they share a lot of “cool” things.
The downside is the heavy workload, tight deadlines, and always having to keep track of time to complete assignments. But in return, I found myself leveling up quite quickly, learning teamwork, time management, and being much more confident. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to pursue a serious career in dev. 🚀
