My name is Carolina, I’m Mexican, and I study IBM. At first, I was really scared to leave my hometown, but then I discovered BUV and decided to move. I can honestly say that I have no regrets.

BUV and Vietnam are an incredible place to be in your 20s. There is a lot of culture, and I can see that the international community is growing, so I have made friends from all over the world. Vietnamese people are very kind and are always willing to help in any situation.

I think having a British and Asian degree is an amazing opportunity, the classes are challenging, and the exchange years are very interesting to consider. I’m really happy with my choice and I’m enjoying discovering Asia with my friends.

BUV has a great facility and Campus is very beautiful. The Staff/ Professors are all very professional. Currently the University is still working on creating a environment for International Students which is exiting.

Looking back, choosing British University Vietnam (BUV) for my undergraduate degree before autumn 2025 was one of the best decisions I’ve made. The campus is modern and well-maintained, and the university offers a strong British-standard education supported by passionate professors. Despite concerns about tuition and living expenses, the overall cost of studying in Vietnam is far more affordable than in many European countries, making BUV both a smart and worthwhile investment.

Studying Data Science and Artificial Intelligence at BUV has been a great experience for me. One thing I really appreciate is that many of my lecturers come from different countries, which creates a diverse and welcoming learning environment.
Outside of academics, I’ve also had the chance to join several clubs, including chess, boxing, and the gym community. These activities have helped me meet new people and stay active. The university has a strong international community, and overall, I’m enjoying a happy and fulfilling life here.

BUV campus overall is large and has a very beautiful and modern design. As a software engineering student, I’m very satisfied with the equipment and environment that BUV campus provides me. There are several computer labs with lots of great computers that allow me to learn and enjoy the process. In addition, BUV provides a large variety of clubs

My experience at BUV has been really positive overall. The campus is clean, modern, and a comfortable place to spend the day. I like the canteen because it has a good variety of food and it’s a nice place to relax and chat with friends between classes. The lecturers are friendly and supportive, and student life feels welcoming. Of course, the workload can be challenging sometimes, but it helps me grow and become more independent.

BUV has a large and modern campus with clean, well-maintained, and reliable facilities. The food options on campus are good, and the university offers a wide variety of student clubs and extracurricular activities, which makes campus life enjoyable and engaging. The lecturers are kind, supportive, and always willing to help students. As an international student, I also found Vietnamese people to be very friendly and welcoming, which helped me make many friends and feel comfortable within the campus community.

As a first year student in second semester, I believe that this university is strong in providing space and opportunities to improve in creative ways with many options to choose from. If students want to experience or get the most out of their University life/experience and for their future, then this school is the right place to come.

For example, here, students are able to run events outside of their classes/lectures and join clubs that are student driven/lead. This motivates student to get out of their comfort zones and become the better versions of themselves.

Something good about BUV is that the ISR team really makes sure to take care of us international students. When I encountered a difficult situation where communication with other Vietnamese students was difficult, everyone made sure my opinion was heard and did their best to support me. The BUV campus is also very well maintained and clean making it a comfortable environment for every student to enjoy.
