The university is big in size and has modern academic resources. My studies were good and fun as the professors werr ready to explain every concept which cleared any doubts among the students. We had group discussions where students would discuss concepts taught in class at length
View moreI had a great experience when I attended UMass Boston. Classes were affordable and I felt you really got a lot out of your education. They were building newer facilities when I was there, which ended up really giving the campus a modern feel. I would be more than happy if my own children graduated from any of the UMass colleges

The UMass Boston with 82 undergraduate programs across it 11 schools has popular areas that include business, health professions and social sciences. At Umass Boston I was a graduate student for three years. The diversity of it’s students, the surrounding ocean, the cat walk ( so you never have to walk outside in the cold) . The Professors who are always there for you. The many cultural things going on all the time, because it’s so diverse..During class, I have learned about how to teach using inquiry-based methods. This means teaching not by lecturing, but by guiding students to understanding through questioning and student exploration.
View moreI recently transferred last year to UMB. The entire process was smooth and easy. There was always someone informing and checking in on the entire process! Smoothest transit possible and they took all my credits from my previous school.
View moreWhile I just graduated from Community College locally. I visited UMass-Boston as a 20-year-old and fell in love. I cried tears of joy when I got into their Psychology program. The thought that in a few more years something I dreamed of will fully be mine fills me with more pride than I can put into words. I have gone through many challenges throughout these past years including -death, health issues, family problems, mental health issues, and a global pandemic. I think this shows my integrity to complete tasks and my love for learning. I believe others have cracked under this same pressure, I have had my whole college experience and I am proud of myself for challenging it and adapting and growing with it. I look forward to my next 2 years in Boston, Massachusetts.
