As a graduate of Touro University Worldwide’s M.A. Marriage & Family Therapy program, I can say that my experience was both academically enriching and personally meaningful. The online structure offered the flexibility I needed while still providing rigorous coursework focused on clinical competency, ethics, and human development. Courses in ethics, psychophysiology, and couples therapy especially stood out since they connected research and real-world application in a way that deepened my understanding of the mind-body connection.
I appreciated the accessibility of my professors. Even in an online environment, they were responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in my success. The program’s emphasis on culturally competent care, as well as preparation for licensure, helped me feel confident stepping into the field.
While there’s no traditional campus life due to the fully online design, the program’s structured discussions and supervision opportunities still created a sense of professional community. Overall, TUW provided a solid graduate-level education for students who require flexibility but still want a high-quality academic experience in Marriage and Family Therapy.
