They know the curriculum is tough, so they provide a massive safety net of resources. The enrollment and starting process is straightforward and very data-driven—everything is online, clear, and efficient. If you’re a self-starter who wants a school that respects your time and provides world-class mentorship, this is the place.

Though is took me a while to catch on to the course (I’m not that great at math), I was finally able to balance my spread sheets and maintain a good work/life/school balance. If I could start again, I would have taken this straight out of high school, but going back to school at a later age does present it’s challenges. I encourage those who do have troubles, to get a tutor straight away that way you don’t fall behind trying to white knuckle and push your way through.

The culture at The Ohio State University is like no other that I’ve experience in my life. It is beyond diverse and full of different experiences. Having lived so far away, I am so fortunate to have lived my life knowing that I am a buckeye

One of The Ohio State University’s best programs is Biology. Although such a broad major by itself, Ohio State does an amazing job to help cater it to each and every person. One of the best parts of the major, is the different pre-health tracks. OSU has many different tracks to help aid the student. One of the biggest helps is a major specific advisor. This is something to take advantage of because how much knowledge they have about the major and the pre-health tracks, along with the vast connections they have to other departments. Another big tip about the Biology Program at Ohio State University is to take the placement tests as seriously as possible. By doing your best, it will help place in the correct math and keep from repeating courses. Overall be sure to use the advisors for anything big and small and do not take the placements tests as a joke.
