The Anthropology program at Georgia Southern University is a very efficient and well-structured program. The courses required are all relevant to the field, thus with good advising, students can expect to graduate with no wasted credit hours. The faculty is very amiable, and experts in their discipline. They are flexible with meeting times and assignments and are understanding towards student’s difficult schedules. They are also quick to respond for help and have plenty of opportunities to meet via office hours.
Even outside the classroom, Georgia Southern overall has a friendly environment. There is a club for just about any interest that a student could want. There’s plenty of opportunity for socialization from the food-courts to the recreational center. Sporting events are always fun with a group of friends to cheer around too. Would recommend this school to anthropology majors and other students as well.
