Student review [#26986] for Mechanical Engineering
at Northeastern University

Rather than focusing on abstract concepts, Northeastern’s engineering program focuses far more heavily on project based learning. Much of the program centers around the practical applications of engineering. Applications which are far more relevant in a real professional environment. However, this real world focus also causes faculty to be less hands on with students, as they expect us to solve problems and learn more independently, rather than guide us on every step.
