The NYU professors are outstanding, so much so that I am still friends with several of them years after graduating. They really do care about their students, and how they learn, and 9/10 you wind up with a fair grader. The staff/structure on the other hand… my advisor told me most people don’t graduate in 4 years. I have no idea where that came from since neither I nor anyone I know graduated in over 4 (I almost graduated in 3). From certain required classes being nearly impossible to get into at the time you need to take, to a lot of other nonsense, it can be hard to navigate. But honestly, so many colleges are like that nowadays, but their professors aren’t even close to as good as the ones at NYU. You WILL learn from them and maybe actually enjoy it?! They are the lifeblood of the school and make it 100% worth it.
