Rutgers is what you make it. I have always considered myself a leader, especially in high school. Coming to Rutgers was an adjustment. Being a leader in a “small pond” in high school was somewhat simple. Coming to a large university can be intimidating, yet there are so many leadership opportunities, you just have to be proactive in seeking those out. However, if you put the work in, you will come out with an impressive resume and lifelong connections.
