I transferred to UNF after attending FAU out of high school and noticed tremendous differences between the schools. At FAU, I found myself on a huge campus as a Freshman that didn’t know what he wanted, and found myself lost due to the amount of students on campus. I’d go to classes with 200 people, and felt isolated. This in addition to the cost of FAU, I decided to transfer to UNF and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. This campus is smaller than FAU , but the accessibility of professors, better more
convenient office hours, and smaller class sizes all attributed to my success here. I felt much more supported by my professors and was able to procure relationships with them and my peers much easier than at a bigger college, such as FAU. I didn’t live on campus, so I’m unable to speak to that aspect of the school but I’d highly recommend it as an option to anyone seeking a college education at a fraction of the cost.
