A number of services to help students feel more secure are offered through University Police and the Health and Welfare Center. You can ask an officer to show you around campus or call SNAP service to take you to your destination on campus. Our entire campus is 100% tobacco-free and does not tolerate any form of drugs. The student body is very aware of this policy and therefore there is little or no peer pressure in this area.

Overall my experience was great. I made quite a group of friends in my freshman dorm. The lessons are tough, especially for a scientific subject, but in the end it’s worth it. I just wish there was more to do around campus (besides partying). When I first moved to Gville I was afraid the party scene would be too much but if you stay away from it all you won’t even notice it’s there.

The professors here are experts in their field. While many classes have over 100 students, all teachers have office hours where it is very easy to talk to them. In large classrooms, students are given TAs and they are very helpful. The school offers many free tutoring opportunities for students who need extra help. I have visited tutoring centers when I needed help with homework and have always been helped. The registration process is all online, but very easy to complete. When you first sign up for classes, you have an advisor explain the process and website. The study places here are great. The library is the obvious choice and has a floor dedicated exclusively to study, called the silent floor. Once you’ve explored the campus, you’ll find plenty of other areas of study to focus on.

Facilities are great, too much focus on most popular majors (Business, Political Science) and too little focus on others. Ridiculous amounts of supervision for a place where adults are supposed to live.
