Eastern Nazarene College (ENC) is a private, Christian liberal arts college located in Quincy, Massachusetts. My opinion about ENC is generally positive, especially if you value a close-knit, supportive community and a faith-based education.
What I Like About Eastern Nazarene College:
Community Atmosphere: ENC is known for its strong sense of community. Students, faculty, and staff come together to create a supportive environment where everyone looks out for each other.
Faith-Based Education: The college’s commitment to Christian values is evident in its curriculum and campus activities, making it an excellent choice for students seeking an education grounded in their faith.
Small Class Sizes: With a smaller student body, ENC offers more personalized attention and opportunities for meaningful interactions with professors.
Location: Being in Quincy, a suburb of Boston, ENC provides easy access to the cultural, academic, and professional opportunities of a major city while maintaining a quieter campus environment.
What I Dislike About Eastern Nazarene College:
Cost: Like many private colleges, ENC is expensive. The cost of tuition and fees can be a significant burden for students and their families, even with financial aid options available,
Limited Programs: While ENC offers a range of majors, it might not have as many specialized programs or research opportunities as larger universities.
If you are looking for a college where you can find a strong sense of community and support, Eastern Nazarene College is a great choice. The college excels in fostering a collaborative and nurturing environment. However, the high cost of attendance is a significant factor to consider, so be sure to explore financial aid options and scholarships.
I love this college because if you’re looking for a community, this is it. Everybody gets together and helps each other out. What I don’t like about it is that it’s so expensive. If you value a supportive, faith-based community and can manage the financial aspect, ENC could be an excellent fit for you.
