Wright State University was the perfect school to transfer to after a couple of years in community college. WSU offered the larger university atmosphere without feeling overwhelming. And with multiple student events throughout the year, making new friends was incredibly easy.
Off-campus housing was also readily available in easy driving/biking distance, with an array of local restaurants, shopping, and some great hiking trails to help pass the time outside of class.
On the downside, burglaries can be a little too common. I was never personally affected (nor was anyone I knew), but it can be disconcerting to continually receive cautionary campus emails.
Overall, the price was right and the experience was smooth. Get in, get your degree, make some friends along the way, and move on into the world. I would absolutely recommend Wright State for a practical, hands-on educational experience.
