Some of the larger courses are taught with very mixed quality, eg by TAs with poor English. Great experience overall though, with many opportunities to get involved in varied interest groups and sides of campus life, and interesting academic challenges.

The university is very flexible when it comes to planning your field of study and there are many people/resources to help advise you. That being said, it isn’t necessarily the happiest place – particularly if you are some kind of minority. In addition, students are usually overworked and whilst they are not necessarily very competitive with one another, they’re not always the best team-players either.
