I really like the program I participate in because it offers a lot of help, guidance, workshops and you get involved more. The child development program at my school has consultants you can get advice from. Also the route schedule which prioritizes you for the classes you need. The department is very good at keeping students informed by email such as when to register, when to come to the permits department, and they even send jobs and internships in the market related to the specialty.
