When applying to Boston University, I strongly encourage incoming students to visit the school they plan to graduate from. I was placed in the College of General Studies (CGS). Because I had to complete core courses, I didn’t have much opportunity to explore different fields of study in my freshman and sophomore years. But I enjoyed my experience even more when I entered the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) to focus on my psychology degree. Now that I’m enrolled in my major, I can take more courses that interest me. During CAS, I met a lot of great professors who really love their subject. My preferred type of class is a seminar, only about 15-20 students and more discussion. Overall, choosing a psychology degree will get you into a great program with great professors and great opportunities. “
