The professors have generally been quite helpful. They provide their email addresses and occasionally their phone numbers and are accessible before class. My present lecturer has been wonderful and quite helpful. The fact that my major, international relations, is an umbrella is its best feature. There are numerous ways to concentrate on and become a specialist in various global regions and facets of international relations. My academic advisors are knowledgeable and helpful in suggesting the classes that would be the most beneficial for me to take.
View moreMy teachers did a wonderful job of adjusting to the shift when I took numerous subjects online. It was difficult at first, but with the aid of the IT department and students, they have improved greatly. Our teachers are doing their best, but obviously it is not the same as being there in person. I made the best decision getting into Boston university.
View moreMost of the Pardee Professors are great. Pardee advising SUCKS. Absolutely incompetent. Good variety of classes, but very decentralized, since some IR classes are in Pardee, some are cross-coded with Poly Sci, some are cross-coded with Anthropology or Religion, etc. Not much of an undergrad community in Pardee, so it’s harder to get to know your classmates.
View moreI enjoy BU because of the diversity. With so many students, it is possible to meet lots of different people and try new things. Additionally, the university attracts some excellent faculty that are truly inspiring. Finally, the location in Boston is great!
