The university is wonderful, vibrant, and provides top-notch study resources. It has my wholehearted support! Since they are always accessible to students, libraries and learning centers provide top-notch educational resources. Plenty of amenities, a good campus with a welcoming atmosphere, and decent lodging.

There are many resources available at Boston College to support students as they navigate campus life. The professors deserve great respect for all the work they put in and the excellent material they deliver. The lecturers are approachable and timely in their email responses if you ever have questions.
The campus itself is really beautiful. It is a 24/7 guarded university that is safe and secure. There is also plenty of room to read
or edit quietly.

I love all my professors and classes, and my workload is definitely manageable – if you were near the top of your class in high school (and most people here are), you’ll have plenty of time to complete your major in most cases. There is definitely more work here than in high school (I went to a very competitive high school), but you have a lot less time in class, so it’s not bad. It’s all about time management. One problem with classes here is that many of the large classes are taught by TFs (our version of TAs), which makes it difficult to meet a professor face to face. But once you get to the senior grades, the number of classes drops drastically

I came to Boston University from a small boarding school because I needed to broaden my horizons. I study more specialized things and can use BU’s outstanding resources. There are a variety of classes, all the professors are nice and helpful, and I couldn’t be happier with my studies. However, getting the real role of the class always seems a bit difficult. Registration can sometimes surprise you if you’re not ready for it, but BU schedules it based on your course and student ID number, and the date and time are always listed on the student link you can access online. Have it, it will be shipped. It makes everything so easy. Also, choosing classes is much easier because there is an online tracker that you need to complete in order to complete the major/minor you are studying. There are always popular subjects like biology and learning. I can’t speak from experience because I haven’t taken the popular classes, but these classes are always hard to get into because of the sheer number of students trying to get into them. BU has taken steps to ensure that folk classes have more than one category, more often than not.
The facilities at BU are amazing. For someone like me who always wants to be surrounded by new information and content, this is a dream come true. However, the amount of work expected is often enormous. Depending on the area you are studying, the workload may be light and you may feel overwhelmed. But of course it depends on how you drive.
