How to Learn Science in a Classroom

I am a science major and I have to say that my first experience was not very good. I had a part-time professor who didn’t really know how to teach. He focused on civilized learning – the bane of my existence. He was vague and didn’t want to answer questions that weren’t on his tests. He didn’t give homework. He went through the whole course, and it was clear to me which subjects he felt more comfortable with. On the other hand, students have many opportunities to explore, just like me. You will receive a scholarship and the privilege of working with a science professor, and you will learn more than your average textbook can teach you. I’m really excited about physics next year because we have a Nobel Prize-winning professor and the student body is so diverse. It has positive and negative sides. It’s great to meet new cultures and types of people. Reading just one book expands the mind beyond all possibilities. However, in the classroom, those who struggle to keep up with the language used can create a difficult situation for a teacher trying to effectively teach such diversity.
