A combination of incompetence throughout each layer of the school. Lack of communication, inadequate resources for students, poor teaching, and a plethora of hoops to navigate through it all. On the main campus, walking around police officers and drug addicts are a daily occurrence. Parking is annoying, but at least you can take the bus from turner field for free. Classes were poor, teaching was worse. Advisors had little regard for your future, and would consistently give bad advice. Do not even listen to the advisors here, you’re better off doing your own research and picking the classes you need.

Georgia State University offers a great balance of academics and opportunity. The professors are knowledgeable and approachable, and the variety of courses makes it easy to explore your interests. Being downtown also means you’re surrounded by real-world experiences that tie into your studies.

I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to attend Georgia State University! From the moment I stepped foot on campus, I knew I was in for an incredible ride. The university’s commitment to student success is palpable, and it’s clear that the faculty and staff are dedicated to helping students achieve their goals.

The academics are rigorous, but the support system is top-notch. My professors were always available to answer questions, provide guidance, and offer valuable insights into my field. The coursework was challenging, but it prepared me well for the workforce.

What really stood out to me was the university’s emphasis on experiential learning. I had the opportunity to participate in internships, research projects, and community engagement initiatives that gave me hands-on experience and helped me build a strong portfolio.

Georgia State University is a genuinely exceptional place! The lecturers are outstanding, not only in their knowledge but also in their enthusiasm for teaching. They bring even the most complex concepts to life with their entertaining teaching methods. The classrooms are modern and well-equipped, resulting in an engaging learning atmosphere. I’ve never been more inspired and challenged in my academic career.The lecturers actually care about their students’ success and are friendly. The library is a great place to study or spend time.
