Professors are very much qualified
I have never had a class where I felt the professor was unqualified, and it is clear that academics and professors are the main focus of AU. The campus arboretum complements the outstanding education, but there are so many other attributes that I question my school’s overall reputation. Housing on campus is a lottery, and the food is terrible. Good riddance, Greek life, but the party scene is now virtually nonexistent. For people over 21, DC is a terrific playground, but underclassmen will have a difficult time fitting in. The internship team and administration at AU are responsible for the most flagrant violations. The majority of AU students are promised internships, yet they do little to assist you.
