The diversity of people here we find in Warwick is greater than I thought and it is amazing as I get to know more about different cultures. I have found many friends from various parts of the world and have gained global exposure.
The range of societies and clubs is great we get to try different things. I am a part of the volleyball club and people in my club are very welcoming and inclusive so I had no problem with blending in even though I joined in the second term in my first year. In my first year, I opted for a twin room and was allotted a twin room in the accommodation Sherbourne. Although Sherbourne is quite far from the central campus, it is only a 5-minute walk from the newly built gym and is a very modern accommodation. The rent for a double room is half of the ensuite and hence it is an opportunity to be in a modern and nicely built accommodation at a lower cost.
I study Bsc management which is a very flexible course. Since I had always wanted to learn Spanish, in my second year I opted to learn Spanish in my course.
The location is a little secluded however since Warwick has thousands of students, one never feels that they are away from the city as it feels like a city in itself.
All in all, I believe that Warwick has given me a great experience in terms of course flexibility and social life.
