I enjoy the time I get to spend with my classmate at the University of Wolverhampton. The best part about this was getting £200 funded into my Student Wallet. At first, I did not expect international student to get funded, I thought it was just UK based student only getting funded £200. The fact that the University of Wolverhampton is Diverse to International Student is something I am happy about as a Black Student.

Life is a journey and it should be full of accomplishments and education plays a vital role in a student’s life. Studying here at university of Wolverhampton gives me an unlimited number of opportunities making my career go in the right direction.

During pandemic , when everyone was in lockdown depressed about the pandemic and how their life’s came to a standstill with no more excitement and fun in one’s life, Social media came as a huge savior for many. People used it as a source of entertainment , connecting with the world and some people making it as a permanent source of income. This power of Social Media attracted me towards itself and in the search of making it a part of my future I started searching about master courses in this field, Little did I know my search would end on the land of education – United Kingdom at University of Wolverhampton.

When Millions of people all around the world were yearning for such an opportunity ,I got a rare priviledge to be a part of this programme.

My life took a 360 degree turn as soon as I stepped into the University. The journey so far in the university has been a mixture of intellectual , creative as well as skill build up . Never have I imagined that this life changing opportunity would make me a better version of myself by enhancing my skill in the best way possible as well as encouraging me to take a designated job that could be a turning point in my career.

This programme not only made me industry ready but has changed my overall mindset and personality, I feel alot more confident and this program has imparted me with theoretical skill and competencies that I require as a budding Digital Marketer.

The university goes beyond impacting academic knowledge, here there is constant attempt and effort to make some fine Digital marketing experts for the corporate world. They enable us to enquire the fundamental prerequisite technical skills that one requires to be an effective digital marketer.

To ace the field of digital Marketing , this university provided us with guest sessions with many knowledgeable and industry experts which indeed upgrading our knowledge.
To boost our speaking skill and thought process regular group discussions and presentations were held in our classes which somehow helped me connecting with people and understanding their thoughts , generating more ideas and increarsing my learning about that particular topic.

This particular activity also increased my soft skills which is very important and expected of me as a professional Digital Marketer.

Digital marketing soft skills that comprise of effective communication skills for better understanding and communication of information by shaping my thought process.

Leadership and Problem solving skills that strengthen me to be a team player and a leader who can be entrusted with the management of the employer’s digital marketing issues.

Content Creation Skill will enable me to be effective in the generation of promotional information to use in my marketing strategies and efforts.

Strategy making as well as Analytic skills on the other hand can be critical in giving me vigour to make rational and well-thought decisions which can address actual problem.

There are some more traits that one should comprise to become an effective employee are hard work, honesty, courtesy, creativity and adaptability. I acknowledge the fact that no marketing expert can do without them. In this regards I try my best to ensure I actualize each of these skills, these skill would strengthen my capabilities and enable me to become better in my industry.

Now talking about the academic curriculum. This 12 month program is designed in such a way that apart from academic/theoretical learning, it prepare one for real life work experience. The hand on experience and exposure would take your knowledge 10 steps ahead.

Their curriculum is structured to emphasis on the practical use of gained skill via employment of both live and stimulated case material, this is what makes it one of its kind. To ensure that we are getting most out of our education we had regular lecturer assigned classroom activities as well as online assignment, which helps us in practical knowledge.

At the starting of my journey with this university , never have I thought that I would develop and learn digital marketing skills so quickly that I would get a good job within 3 months of me joining this course that too a designated job as Digital Marketing Manager.

The Projects and assignment within my curriculum not only provided me with required expertise but guidance of my mentor always bring out the best out of me.The hand on experience on the project helped me in developing critical skills for digital marketing success Along with knowledge of how this industry works and what I can expect throught it.

My overall experience with the university was amazing. The university works towards giving the best to each of its student so that they can excel in their respective field. The amount of knowledge and skills I have gained in such a little time with the help of my tutors is a achievement in itself.

I would like to enlighten the amount of efforts and support I have got from my tutors Dr Imran Khan, Dr Robert Harris and Dr Shaukat Ali is remarkable. They have always guided me in best way possible so that in future we can become ideal and dependable digital marketers. The way they build up our skills and guide us throughout the course, the learning process becomes easy and seamless.

At the end I would like to appreciate and acknowledge My academic Mentor without their support, guidance and supervision throughout our course I would not have secured a Designated job.

And lastly I would like to thank my husband and family for always standing by my side and very special thanks to university of wolvwerhampton for working tirelessly towards building our careers, the amount of hardship and dedication they show towards us in commendable. And my experience so far has been blissful. It is a journey for me that is so close to my heart as its been a life changing for me.

I like the university as my course allows me to gain an in-depth knowledge of Social Work. It also allows me to develop transferable skills such as communication, presentation and problem-solving skills, whilst enhancing my ability to work as part of a team

The degree program was conducted fully online because of covid-19. The degree I did was in mechatronic engineering I was an international student and did not want to attend the university it was a partner program which was conducted by the local university called cinec.

I highly recommend this university as they support students not only with studies but with mental health as well. Each student has their own personal teacher and if they need to talk to them they can easily book appointment with them and discuss whatever they want to discuss either it is about their personal wellbeing or enquiry related to studies.

Diverse University with a lot of opportunities for its community. The support given by teachers is impeccable and you really do feel like the want the best for you. I was part of the sports team and I was treated in high regard as well as my teammates and this shows how much respect and how valuable the university considers it’s alumni to be.

I like the way of teaching and explaining things to the students. Easy access to the student materials. I remember the very first I came to university and was a bit nervous but I started learning new things the very first day. I participated in so many activities organised by the university. It is a very good experience.

Great staff and great resources to further your education. Would definitely recommend coming to this university for further education and just overall a great university experience. Updated campus too.
