Student review [#28326] for English and Creative Writing

In coming to Scotland to study, I was excited to explore beyond what I knew. Of course, I had apprehensions, would I fit in? Would there be anyone that looks like me? Seeing that, I did not opt for the stereotypical people like me usually do. I loved learning and reading and dissecting the literature, both Scottish and global. Were there times when I thought that it would be nice to hear from a different voice or perspective? Yes. However, I appreciated the effort when POC did arrive on the scene. However, a POC in literature and the subject of study is not representative of all POC nor does the POC in that class (me) have special insight into that character because of the similiarities we share.
