Most accommodations were very close to the uni facilities and it was great to have the city centre by just 5 minutes walking. However, the uni is distributed in too many buildings, and it was a huge pain to have all classes in at least 10 different buildings. I was late and lost too many times because of that. Courses were good, but they were too focused on “how” to create assignments (limit for the number of words, index, references) than “what” was the actual content of them, so it felt like they were just preparing you to work in the academic world. Besides that, we learned how to use different computer programs, subjects matter were wide and complete, and we also did several field analyses. In summary, it was useful learning but could have been better. Glasgow life is fantastic. A great option if you’re considering it for an exchange year or Erasmus.
