Great to practice English.
Huge amount of easily accessible opportunities next to your studies.
Vibrant city with the possibility to try almost anything. In my case Volleyball, Tango and swimming before lectures.
You can find people to party and also like minded people that are entrepreneurial, etc.
The bad side is the expenses. The cost of studying, eating, going out, etc. Is quite tremendous. In Germany everything is subsidised from the food on campus to printing your lecture slides. In Manchester it feels like they want to earn money of you (university as a business). Overall great experience and right choice.
