My opinion of the University so far is a positive one. I have had any help that I needed with moving in, I am finding the lectures very easy to understand and it is all very step by step focused when delivering the tasks. The Ice-Breakers in the first week were helpful and informative regarding the wide range of diversity between the students in my class. The student housing has been good; despite the loud noises outside the window when everyone goes to the clubs or are just out in general but honestly what else is there to be expected from ‘Uni Life’. As well as the ease with the actual university helping with lesson structure, registration and all of that jazz, like setting up a doctor for the time here; I have found the discounts given for students brilliant and as soon as I moved in there was a ‘DigIn’ box with some goodies in it which shows that the Student Union of the University really do care. The care is also shown through the constant presence of a red shirt-wearing student representative that can advise at any time.
That’s all I have so far but I will update as the first year goes on.
