The University of Salford focuses on real-world education, and that’s what makes it stand out. The courses are designed to connect theory with practical experience, often involving projects that mirror what happens in the workplace. The lecturers are approachable and genuinely supportive, always willing to help you understand and apply what you’re learning. The campus is modern and close to Manchester, so there’s always something happening nearby. While some facilities could use a little upgrading, the overall atmosphere is welcoming and down-to-earth—perfect for students who want a balance of learning, career preparation, and city life.

View moreEnglish Language at Salford university is both heart-warming and disappointing. The school clearly doesn’t prioritise areas of study that are not the performance arts or science/business. However, the staff are supportive, caring and committed to their role. I just wish the school would send a little more support their way.
View moreGreat university! Split across three different campuses (two in Salford and one in Media City). State-of-the-art facilities; excellent tutors; lots of different sports teams and societies to get involved with. I didn’t stay in the on-campus accommodation, but have many friends who have enjoyed their time there. Lots of career opportunities and progression. They have a fully kitted out gym and swimming pool with membership being offered to students at a reduced rate and excellent Student Union. Fully enjoyed my time at Salford University and would urge all to study at this brilliant higher education unit.
