I liked the majority of the teaching throughout the degree, the assessments assigned were easy to follow and I liked how were were assessed throughout the degree. The majority of lecturers were helpful when you needed guidance or help with anything. Lots of opportunities to give your opinion about modules and the degree program. Lots of talks about career prospects and options and a great careers team.

Edge hill is a beautiful campus which is well maintained and has great facilities. The main issue with the campus is the parking as unless you get there early you will not be able to park. The parking attendants can also sometimes be quite rude which if you are like me and a little anxious about confrontation can be really off-putting. Over the last 3 years, I have had some excellent tutors, my criminology department lecturers were excellent and I feel that this is reflected in my overall results. However, there have been some instances in the psychology department where I felt support and prioritisation were lacking. The final semester included a reflections module in which a group dragons den type presentation was required. I felt that this module could have been included as part of one of the previous modules as it was only worth 10 credits and took up a lot of time organising group meetings to complete the work. Due to the pandemic, there was little opportunity to experience fully the facilities and recreational opportunities the university had to offer but from what I have seen these are very good and it’s a shame I didn’t get to enjoy the experience fully. Overall I was really happy with my experience at Edgehill. I came through Edgehill fast track programme and this has opened up doors for me that I never thought possible. I am very grateful for this and would highly recommend the fast-track programme.
