Nottingham Trent University has been a fantastic place to study. The campus is modern, well-equipped, and located in the vibrant city of Nottingham, offering plenty of opportunities both academically and socially. The teaching quality is excellent, with supportive lecturers who genuinely care about student success, and the university places a strong emphasis on practical, career-focused learning.

I truly enjoy my time at NTU and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a university that combines academic excellence with a lively and inclusive atmosphere.

I loved my time at Nottingham Trent University, so much so that I chose to return to complete my Master’s degree too. From the moment I stepped onto its vibrant campus, I knew I was in for a transformative academic journey.
One of the highlights of my time at NTU was the emphasis on experiential learning. The university encourages students to engage in real-world projects, internships, and industry partnerships. These opportunities not only provide valuable hands-on experience but also bridge the gap between academic theory and practical application, giving students a competitive edge in the job market.

I’ve had a good couple of months at NTU. The staff members are extremely helpful and they have some really good facilities and learning equipment. One thing which I dislike about NTU however is the online workspace and can be a bit difficult to navigate around. I believe if it can be made slightly easier then I will increase my overall rating.

I am really happy at my university, i think they do a really good job at making students there feel welcomed and part of a the community. There are always events going on and lots of activities. Wide range of things you can do whilst at university. The teaching is mostly good all the time the only thing I would change or suggest NTU to do is have more sessions outside of classes in case you’re struggling. Maybe 1-1’s with experts in particular fields example data analysis

I’d say our university is quite good I believe there is a lot of inclusivity; meaning students from ethnic minority backgrounds are not excluded from specific roles. Also, it’s a great social hub, ideal for networking and has been quite easy to find like-minded people.

One of the main things most students hear about when considering going to university is “You are paying to teach yourself”. So naturally, I had prepared for this. However, when I joined NTU, I’ve been consistently shocked at how much support they provide for students and how much they involve themselves in their students’ learning. There’s access to a large number of resources and there are library webinars for anything that a student could have trouble with – from how to write a report to how to Harvard references to how to use statistics properly.

Apart from academics, NTU also shows that they care about students’ social life. The school puts on so many different types of enrichment available to all their students such as free salsa lessons, bingo nights and quiz nights! I genuinely couldn’t recommend this uni more – they will surprise you.

I would say Nottingham Trent university is hands down an amazing university. The city campus where i studied has all the facilities a university student needs. A library with 24/7 staff to help you, cafe services, open access to university buildings which has many study spaces. Lecturers were very helpful when it came to exams and assignments leaving students informative with their work.

My course was based on the Clifton campus. It is a very eco-friendly university with continuous improvements on campus. The latest upgrades are the construction of a new technical wing and the renovation of the student union bar. Studentenwerk has regular events throughout the year. The campus is modern, friendly, and a comfortable place to study and learn. My course was great! docents are very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about their subject. All microbiology instructors are easy to talk to, so I feel like I can ask them questions if necessary. The lab equipment available for my course is great! There are many laboratories on campus, especially because of the new istec building (interdisciplinary science and technology building). Labs on campus include all necessary equipment. Also, in the lab, you will be supported by other faculty members and lab technicians who are always happy to help. Excellent career services are available to all students with regular workshops to improve resumes, interview techniques, online profiles and other skills important in the workplace. They are also very involved in finding internships and internships. There are many opportunities to learn about employment opportunities, such as job fairs, workshops, and career courses. We also offer a range of programs that, alongside your university studies, focus on developing skills in the workplace, such as: B. Axel 8. Overall, Nottingham was very pleased with his Trent University experience and would highly recommend this university to others.

NTU’s standard is very high. The school’s master’s programme is great and you will get incredible value for your money throughout your time there. The modules for my course for instance are fresh and meet industry realities. The tutors are versed in their subject area and invest great efforts in designing their lecture materials. So there is ample quality content to engage with. Since all the modules are workshop-based, you can say the programme is 100% hands-on. Some departments do not write exams, only business reports. This is the case for me. You have to be really committed because there’s no room for laziness at NTU unless you’re satisfied with mere a pass. Class contribution is a primary condition for passing some modules, so you have to study before each workshop to be able to meaningfully contribute during class discussions. As stated earlier the course materials are quality, well-researched and creatively prepared into PPT, but there are also case studies and some of them are like 31 pages long. They are often interesting if you read them but there’s hardly enough time to read all the materials before each workshop so here’s where you will need great time management and self-motivation skills. My only complaint about NTU will be about the modules not being spread out enough. So, you can finish a complex module within one month, with loads of materials to cover and a lengthy business report which you have to submit as the summative assessment. Then two days later, you’re starting another one, so this stresses some students. Besides this, NTU is a great place to study. In fact, from the first week, the school will give you the tools to map your personal development plan and you get graded for it. This is called the Professional Practice module. If I decide to pursue a PhD, I don’t think I can consider another school other than NTU.

I like the diversity of the pupils. I enjoy the different types of modules. The course is well spread out across the week and they give you enough time to do assignments. I like the extra activities too to unwind.
