I had a brilliant time studying for three years at Nottingham Trent. The tuition was well delivered – we had a variety of courses, opportunities and experiences that expanded our skillset. My accommodation in my first year was so close to the city campus, which is compact but a lovely environment with great facilities. The gym is such great value and so well equipped! Nottingham itself is a fab city to be in, particularly for students of the Art and Design college as it has a great creative scene – the Contemporary always has interesting exhibitions, there are multiple theatres and cinemas, and NTU’s very own Bonnington always has interesting events and exhibitions to go and experience. The night life is brilliant, there are numerous bars, restaurants and coffee shops, and if you need a bit of an escape the Arboretum, or (slightly further afield) is Wollaton Deer Park which is beautiful in all seasons. The public transport (buses and trams) couldn’t be easier!

View moreBefore starting university, I was very nervous, however excited to start. From the first day Trent made the whole experience of starting university easy and enjoyable. As someone who loves being at home, the idea of moving to a different city was very daunting, but Trent made me feel welcome. Nottingham is a great city and has many social events to attend. Additionally, the university holds many events throughout the year so that you can meet new people.
I’m about to go into my third year studying Design for TV & Film, and I feel like the course has helped me to grow so much as a person, and a designer. I would highly recommend this university.
