In my opinion, the things that impressed me most are the various facilities including the digital equipment in Culture Lab, the workshop in Fine Art and the repair services in the school. Every time I borrowed some equipment from Culture Lab such as the camera and the recorder, the staff in the school are patient and they would teach me how to use them if I was confused about the instructions. Also, the staff in the Fine art workshop are all interesting and quite nice. What is more, I have to recommend the language service in Newcastle University as it was free and in the beginning, as an international student, I was afraid that I cannot catch the English words in class and even had phobia of talking with others in English, but then I got help from the language centre and improved my writing and speaking skills much, and got much confidence from it. Also, I went to learn Japanese in the language centre, it was free too and I have never expected I could learn Japanese in the UK, at that time I thought I had got extra opportunities to learn more knowledge, thanks to the Newcastle University for helping me so much in my study abroad journey.
