Studying Business and Marketing at Manchester Metropolitan University has been a valuable and memorable experience. One of the things I appreciate most about the university is its strong focus on practical learning, from real-world case studies to opportunities for live briefs and industry collaboration. The course has helped me build a strong foundation in both traditional and digital marketing, while also encouraging creativity.
I’ve particularly enjoyed the diverse modules, supportive lecturers, and the way the curriculum stays up to date with industry trends, especially in areas like digital marketing and consumer behaviour. The university’s city-centre location is also a positive attribute; being surrounded by such a vibrant business and creative community has influenced my perspective and opened doors for networking.
If I had to mention a downside, I’d say some aspects of the academic admin and communication could be improved, but overall, it hasn’t impacted my learning experience too much.
Would I recommend MMU? Absolutely!! Especially for students who are looking for a business course that’s not just theory-based but also prepares them for real-world challenges and creative industries 🙂
