StudentCampusRoyal Holloway has the best campus, with the best view to be seen in London. The best part of it is that all the buildings are gathered all together and not as other university where all the buildings are divided and scattered, which makes it difficult to create more interaction between students.

EloiseGBGreat academic balanceMy opinion of this university is that it has a great work/life balance. I have never felt as though the workload is too overwhelming but there is also enough to keep me engaged and passionate about my subject. I also found it very easy to make friends both within my course and outside of my course. The social culture at this university, although different from a city university still means a lot is going on and local places to visit, as well as the fact that London is so close.

Royal Holloway’s main strength is the humanities. Overall his QS ranking for the Faculty of Humanities is 140th in the world.
Royal Holloway’s Department of Life and Natural Sciences does not rank among the top 900 in the world. The exception is earth science/geology.The university attracts many wealthy students. Sports cars around campus, including Porsche. The English Department maintains an exchange program with Yale University in the United States.
