I am currently completing my masters at LSE, and have learned more in three months than I did for most of my undergraduate. They expect a lot of you, however in return you receive the best quality education. The class sizes are small, lecturers and professors are available weekly and the range of topics and research specialities is vast.

Very friendly place with good atmosphere and great location , lots of opportunities to meet people with very interesting different experiences and ideas. Lots of different events that are both informative and entertaining

Professors are pretty helpful and there for students. The classes are pretty interesting. I particularly enjoy the diversity at the university and the exposure. The services are good overall with excellent staff.

One of the most notable aspects as a student at LSE is its inspiring work culture. The vast cultural diversity that exists between the university walls are home to driven and motivated individuals from all over the globe. Such a multicultural atmosphere fosters a rich exchange of ideas, enabling students to broaden their horizons. This coupled with the school’s emphasis on collaboration and critical thinking nurtures an intellectually stimulating environment where students are constantly learning from one another and their experiences.
I have found that the dedication from the career services provides comprehensive and supportive guidance throughout each student’s academic journey. From personalised career counselling sessions to skill-building workshops and networking events loaded with leading industry professionals and alumni, LSE equips its students with the necessary tools to successfully navigate the competitive job market.
RIghtly renowned for its academic excellence, LSE attracts top-tier faculty members who are not only highly knowledgeable but also passionate about their subjects, creating engaging learning experiences as I have found while studying my course. My lecturers are incredibly accomplished and passionate about their fields of study without which I would not be as immersed in my studies as I am.
It is important to note that the London School of Economics lives up to its academic prestige which comes with a level of demand from students that are only compatible with immense determination and stellar time management, especially from those who would also like to pursue extracurricular activities. That being said, forming a community with students who have similar interests and aspirations as you is the key to ensuring that you are able to remain on track with your goals.
Overall I would recommend LSE for those who value and aspire to be in a hardworking environment.

One of the major benefits of studying at LSE and in London is the ability to access and be fully immersed in the innovative, world-class research and policy arenas through both academic and non-academic pursuits. Not only can the students engage with leading thought leaders in their chosen fields but also apply their learning through many hands-on individuals or society-led projects supported by the university. Students will likely find themselves overwhelmed with all the available learning opportunities and have to quickly learn how to prioritize their time effectively between their coursework and other activities. If you can balance it all, you will definitely enjoy your time at LSE. However, if you find it challenging, especially students who are not familiar with the independent and the self-motivated approaches practised by the European universities, then you can reach out to the many health, wellness and counselling services available at the university.

From my personal experience and what I’ve heard from other people your satisfaction at the LSE will greatly vary depending on the department. My own is very small and very proactive in providing us support and contact with teachers and academics, fostering a lovely community which I feel very comfortable in. But many of my friends in larger departments don’t feel this way, and I’ve heard many stories of over-work and loneliness. The corporate environment is also very taxing, even if you have no involvement in it. I would recommend finding creative societies to balance all that out!

The professors at LSE are really qualified and their slides make the students relate to the course content better. The accomodations provided are in the heart of London and are easy to access, with catering provided twice. Socializing is very easy at LSE as it is one of the University of London affiliates and many students from other colleges can be approached easily. The student union has a strong voice and overall the University makes a better person and not just an academic scholar.

I like that the professors are experienced in their field and have a lot of time for students. I would recommend it to others. However it is a very exclusive university in terms of price, which does not facilitate the best talent.

I like LSE’s educational atmosphere and rigorous academic standards. Here I feel like I am challenged daily to learn and understand the world in a incredibly diverse and intellectual environment. I love the library and how it can accomodate us all.

LSE is one of the best universities in the U.K. It welcomes diversity right from inviting students from all around the world to bringing in world-renowned academicians as professors. LSE does all things right. I had a wonderful experience with my classmates where I interacted with them, debated the world’s pressing problems and deliberated on solutions together. The amenities at LSE are student-friendly and convenient. The staff are cordial and ever ready to help. One of the fascinating things about LSE is its campus where there are always exciting activities happening. I had a great experience learning at LSE. As a university, it provides various facilities to guide students’ smooth academic journey. One of the facilities that I frequently use is LSE Life which provided assistance in terms of writing summative and formatives, helping with my essays to align with LSE standards and getting positive feedback. However, I believe that on some grounds, LSE could perform better such as more office hours with professors, better orientation with regards to what LSE expects out of its student, doing more for students’ mental health and above all making students feel part of the LSE community. Overall, my experience at LSE reached far beyond my expectation. I would highly recommend LSE to anyone who dares to excel and come out as a brilliant student.
