The prestige of LSE is clearly evident in the teaching of its many social science-driven courses and programmes. The quality and level of teaching are very high and academics are held to account for their pedagogical abilities. The university is clearly run with a heart and every student is heard, while the university communicates its policies and intentions very clearly. The IT systems of the school are well managed and marketed, so networked systems are widely used (such as LSE’s student hub for finding events, bookings etc.)
The balance of postgrad and undergrad students is great and it shows as the university does have a very mature, ambitious character. The facilities can at times be a bit old and used, but efforts are clearly made to keep them clean (at varying levels of success).
